sold by the owner according to the National Association of REALTORs. Listing with a REALTOR puts your listing on the MLS system.
The MLS is the computer database that contains all homes listed with a REALTOR. This system is used by real estate professionals
to access data about properties for sale by REALTORs. This is, by far, the majority of properties for sale in our state. The
agents set up searches for their clients and the MLS system automatically sends listings matching a client's search to their
email as soon as they come on the market.
Listing your home with a REALTOR gives your property the exposure
it needs to sell at fair market value. Selling on your own will not only put you in the position of writing and negotiating
contracts that you aren't used to dealing with on a daily basis. A REALTOR can help you with explanations of these contracts
and with their valuable experience of negotiating property sales.
